The International Coaching Federation (ICF) defines coaching as “partnership with clients that, through a creative process, stimulates reflection, inspiring them to maximize their personal and professional potential“.
The coach uses dialogue and other experiential tools in an ethical, respectful and responsible way to support the coachee in enhancing their talents, achieving their goals, expressing their potential and developing their personal, professional or sporting performance.
The coaching I offer can be either purely verbal or involve somatic experience and draws on valuable resources such as the Enneagram, Nonviolent Communication and Solution Focus. Specifically, solution-focused practice aim to support individuals to move towards the future they desire and to learn what can be done differently using existing skills, strategies and ideas, rather than focusing on the problem. The Enneagram is a great map of the territory explored. The body in coaching is a place of both support for mental and emotional clarity and management, as well as deep insights.
I obtained the ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC) and the EMCC Senior Practitioner credentials
